Maserati delivered an electrifying two-day track event at Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, marking the overseas debut of the GT2 Stradale. The event welcomed over 100 guests, including GCC and international media and clients, showcasing Maserati’s innovation, performance, and craftsmanship against the backdrop of one of the world’s most iconic Formula 1 circuits.

Guests stayed at W Hotel Abu Dhabi, with stunning track views enhancing the motorsport atmosphere. The days were packed with thrilling track experiences and exclusive activations in the garage, including Maserati’s Fuoriserie personalization program, a configurator station, and the Folgore display, showcasing the brand’s Formula E race car, set to compete in Season 11.

The event’s highlight was the overseas debut of the GT2 Stradale, a road-legal evolution of the GT2 race car, which dominated the Fanatec GT2 European Series Championship 2024, securing 16 pole positions, 12 victories, seven second-place finishes, and five third-place finishes, ultimately winning both the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the Am class.

Driven by a professional driver, guests experienced adrenaline-pumping hot laps in the GT2 Stradale. Powered by a 640 CV Nettuno V6 engine, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of 324 km/h. Featuring CORSA DRIVE MODE, it delivers a true track-level driving experience. Limited to 914 units in tribute to Maserati’s founding year in 1914, the GT2 Stradale is an exclusive collector’s piece.

Maserati’s Head of Overseas Region, Philippe Claverol, commented on the occasion:

“The GT2 Stradale is a testament to Maserati’s racing heritage and dedication to high-performance craftsmanship. Bringing this model to the Yas Marina F1 Circuit for its overseas debut allows our clients and media to witness firsthand the evolution of Maserati’s engineering excellence. This event showcases our commitment to creating thrilling, high-performance vehicles that continue to push boundaries for the benefit of our customers.”

Maserati’s impressive lineup also included the Grecale, which featured an exclusive on-road driving experience in Abu Dhabi, offering guests the chance to explore its performance and versatility on city streets. On display were the GranTurismo and Grecale Folgore, GranCabrio Trofeo, and MC20, captivating guests with their design and performance. Guests also test-drove the GranTurismo Trofeo and GranTurismo Modena. The Trofeo, powered by a 550 hp twin-turbo Nettuno V6, sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 320 km/h. The Modena, with 490 hp, accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, reaching 302 km/h. Both models blend luxury with high performance, allowing guests to push the limits on the track.

Maserati’s partners played a key role in enhancing the experience. Sonus Faber created a dynamic atmosphere in the garage with high-fidelity sound, the same premium audio system found in Maserati vehicles. Sparco provided top-tier helmets and safety gear, ensuring guests had the best equipment for their track sessions. Bridgestone tires delivered exceptional grip and handling on the GranTurismo and Grecale models, ensuring optimal performance on the track and on the road.

The event concluded with a Maserati-curated dinner at Cipriani Yas Marina, celebrating Modena’s rich culinary heritage. Guests enjoyed a four-course family-style meal with Modena signature dishes like Tortellini in Brodo and the vanilla gelato drizzled with traditional balsamic vinegar – the Modena way.

Maserati’s leadership, including Philippe Claverol, Head of Maserati Overseas, and Chief Commercial Officer Maurizio Zuares, attended, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to performance, craftsmanship, and innovation.

This event cemented Maserati’s commitment to delivering exhilarating experiences, showcasing its latest advancements while celebrating its legacy of passion, speed, and Italian excellence.
