  • Stellantis is #1 in France, Italy and Portugal both in October and year-to-date, with Austria, Germany, The Netherlands recording y-o-y steady growth
  • Outstanding performance achieved in France: Stellantis is the market leader, for the month of October and for the year as a whole, in both the Passenger Car and Commercial Vehicles segments, with the Peugeot 208 establishing itself as the best-selling vehicle in the first ten months, while the newly launched Citroën e-C3 is already the best-selling electric vehicle in October. These results brought Stellantis to grab the leadership in the BEV segment, even doubling the share against the second player in the market
  • Stellantis Pro One reaffirms its leadership both in October and in YTD in the total and BEV market, with over 31% share, 3.6% overall volume increase and a 35.7% BEV share
  • After the first 10 months of 2024, Stellantis maintains its strong position in the European market, securing 2nd place with a market share of nearly 17.5%

Though overall industry sales have declined in recent months, Stellantis’ strong performance in select brands and countries underscores its ability to navigate tough market conditions.

In a slowing electrified market, Stellantis reported significant growth thanks its broad BEV, PHEV, and MHEV offerings. BEVs captured a 12.5% share in the EU29 in October, with 1.2% sales growth. In France, volumes grew by over 10% (over 31% on an YTD basis), with the Peugeot e-208 being among the best-selling EV in the first 10 months of the year. Since the beginning of the year, the Peugeot e-208 and Fiat 500e have been among the Top 5 BEVs (PC and CV).

Thanks to increased production, the Citroën ë-C3 immediately took the lead in the French electric vehicle market in October 2024. Sales growth also in Portugal (+31.4%), Belgium (+16%), Poland (+12%) and triple-digit growth (+188%) was also recorded in the UK, where Stellantis is the leading electric van manufacturer, with Vauxhall leading the electric retail and Motability channels year-to-date.

Overall, Peugeot brand performed especially well, increasing 12.3% in sales and almost 1 p.p. in share versus last year. Stellantis is #1 in France, Italy and Portugal in October and YTD and on the podium in Germany, Spain and UK. Overall, after the first 10 months of 2024, Stellantis reports a 17.5% market share in EU29 markets YTD October and maintained its strong position as the second in the European ranking.

In France, the top models included the Peugeot 208, 308, 2008, 3008, and Citroën C3, while in Italy, the list featured the Fiat Panda, Lancia Ypsilon, Citroën C3, Peugeot 208, and Jeep Avenger, which also secured its position as the best-selling SUV. In Germany, sales increased by over 7% in October, with several brands, such as Citroën, Opel, DS Automobiles and Peugeot recording significant growth versus last year and keeping market share close to 14%. Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Romania and Slovenia all recorded significant sales growth, as well, on a YTD basis.

“Despite a challenging and evolving market, Stellantis continues to prove its resilience and adaptability in Europe,” said Jean-Philippe Imparato, Stellantis Chief Operating Officer, Enlarged Europe. “Our strong growth in key electric segments and standout performance across several markets demonstrate our commitment to meet EU regulations, while protecting its own ecosystem, with the clear goal to deliver clean, safe and affordable mobility to our customers in Europe and beyond”.
