- The votes of around 40,000 AUTO BILD and BILD Germany have once again given Alfa Romeo a hat-trick.
The enthusiasm of German fans for Alfa Romeo design is unwavering. As in previous years the historic Italian brand has also been honored in the 2025 “Best brands in all categories” contest, with several awards. AUTO BILD and BILD readers have selected Alfa Romeo as #1 in the “midsize segment” and “midsize SUVs”, and have also named the brand the overall winner in the “Design” category.
In the midsize segment, Alfa Romeo is represented by the Giulia sports sedan, while the Stelvio featured in the midsize SUVs. The brand also offers the Alfa Romeo Junior and Alfa Romeo Tonale SUV models in Germany, both of which are also available with electrified powertrains.
Christine Schulze Tergeist, Managing Director, Stellantis Premium Brands Germany, stated: “Our models perfectly reflect the aesthetic taste of discerning German enthusiasts. This is demonstrated by the further hat-trick in the design categories of the “Best brands in all categories” contest held by AUTO BILD. It is particularly significant that the awards cover two different vehicle categories, as well as the overall rankings. This demonstrates the wide range in which Alfa Romeo design manages to express itself perfectly. We are very proud of these awards, which represent great praise for the work of the designers at the Alfa Romeo Centro Stile.”
In the “Best brands in all categories” contest, now in its 14th year, AUTO BILD and BILD invited their readers to rate 40 renowned brands based on their purchasing potential. Participants also responded to several questions on brand image, including aspects such as powertrains, assistance systems and sportiness. Overall, about 40,000 readers of the two magazines took part.
