The Italian brand Alfa Romeo repeats the success achieved in 2024, taking home a triple victory in the “Best Cars” competitions in Germany and Switzerland.
Readers of the German automotive magazine “auto motor und sport” crowned Alfa Romeo Giulia as the winner in the “Midsize Import” category for the eighth time. Alfa Romeo Tonale outperformed its competitors, securing the title of best imported vehicle in the “Compact SUV/Off-Road” category. At the same time, Alfa Romeo Stelvio was awarded as the best imported model in the “Large SUV/Off-Road” category.
The “Best Cars” competition, organized by the Stuttgart-based car magazine “auto motor und sport”, was in its 49th edition. Over 94,000 readers participated in the event, selecting their favorite cars from a record number of 462 candidates, divided into 13 categories, with separate rankings for imported brands. The official award ceremony will take place on May 9, 2025, during the traditional celebration for the anniversary of the foundation of the Port of Hamburg.
In Switzerland, Alfa Romeo is recognized as the best brand in terms of style by the readers of the magazine “Auto Illustrierte”. Furthermore, for the eighth consecutive time, Alfa Romeo Giulia has been confirmed in first place in the midsize category of the “Best Cars” competition. Alfa Romeo Stelvio holds the top spot in the “SUV/Off-Road” category for the seventh time, while the Junior won the title in the “Small SUV/Crossover” category in its debut year.
