Daimler Truck and its employees continued their longstanding commitment to charitable projects in 2024. Through the ProCent initiative, approximately 270,000 euros were donated to various charitable organizations and projects worldwide, demonstrating the generosity and social responsibility of both the Daimler Truck workforce and the company.
In 2024, a total of 50 global projects received support, with funding per project ranging from 835 euros to 21,205 euros. The donations were allocated to initiatives such as educational programs for disadvantaged children, environmental projects promoting sustainability, and support measures for people in need. The donations are increasingly being focused on climate-friendly projects.
ProCent is a donation initiative of the company that was initiated by the General Works Council. Daimler Truck employees voluntarily donate the cent amounts of their net monthly salary. This commitment by the workforce is matched by the company.
