The Supervisory Board of Daimler Truck Holding AG has appointed Eva Scherer as new member of the Board of Management of Daimler Truck Holding AG effective April 1, 2024. As Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Eva Scherer will be responsible for Finance & Controlling at Daimler Truck. The appointment is made for three years until March 31, 2027.

Jochen Goetz, who died suddenly and unexpectedly in a tragic incident in August 2023, had been responsible for Finance & Controlling on the Executive Board since July 2021. Since then, Martin Daum has assumed the role of CFO on an interim basis.
Eva Scherer is moving from Siemens AG as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Investor Relations to Daimler Truck. She started her professional career in 2003 as a Trainee at Siemens AG, and then held various management positions at Siemens in the areas of Purchasing and Finance & Controlling in Germany and Switzerland. At the end of 2011, and after completing her part-time Master of Business Administration (MBA), Eva Scherer moved to Singapore as Vice President and Head of Finance Solutions & Services Asia Pacific/Middle East and Head of Finance Building Technologies ASEAN. In early 2017, she returned to Germany and became part of the Executive Management Team of Siemens Mobility as Senior Vice President and Head of Finance & Performance Management. In July 2020, Eva Scherer took over the role as CFO for the Rail Infrastructure and Mobility Software business units. Since October 2022, Eva Scherer has been globally responsible for Investor Relations at Siemens AG. Eva Scherer has also been a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum since 2019.
The decisions of the Supervisory Board on the appointment of Eva Scherer described above apply to Daimler Truck Holding AG and to the same extent to Daimler Truck AG.
