Though overall industry sales have declined in recent months, Stellantis’ strong performance in select brands and countries underscores its ability to navigate tough market conditions.
In a slowing electrified market, Stellantis reported significant growth thanks its broad BEV, PHEV, and MHEV offerings. BEVs captured a 12.5% share in the EU29 in October, with 1.2% sales growth. In France, volumes grew by over 10% (over 31% on an YTD basis), with the Peugeot e-208 being among the best-selling EV in the first 10 months of the year. Since the beginning of the year, the Peugeot e-208 and Fiat 500e have been among the Top 5 BEVs (PC and CV).
Thanks to increased production, the Citroën ë-C3 immediately took the lead in the French electric vehicle market in October 2024. Sales growth also in Portugal (+31.4%), Belgium (+16%), Poland (+12%) and triple-digit growth (+188%) was also recorded in the UK, where Stellantis is the leading electric van manufacturer, with Vauxhall leading the electric retail and Motability channels year-to-date.
Overall, Peugeot brand performed especially well, increasing 12.3% in sales and almost 1 p.p. in share versus last year. Stellantis is #1 in France, Italy and Portugal in October and YTD and on the podium in Germany, Spain and UK. Overall, after the first 10 months of 2024, Stellantis reports a 17.5% market share in EU29 markets YTD October and maintained its strong position as the second in the European ranking.
Stellantis held 30% in France and over 31% in Italy, with five models in the top ten in both markets (PC). In France, the top models included the Peugeot 208, 308, 2008, 3008, and Citroën C3, while in Italy, the list featured the Fiat Panda, Lancia Ypsilon, Citroën C3, Peugeot 208, and Jeep Avenger, which also secured its position as the best-selling SUV. In Germany, sales increased by over 7% in October, with several brands, such as Citroën, Opel, DS Automobiles and Peugeot recording significant growth versus last year and keeping market share close to 14%. Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Ireland, Romania and Slovenia all recorded significant sales growth, as well, on a YTD basis.

Stellantis Pro One ranked #1 in the CV market with over 31% market share in October and a 3.6% year-over-year volume increase, grabbing a 35.7% share in the BEV segment. In Germany, this growth was again particularly notable, with leadership and strong market share at 23,3%, with +2.3pp versus same period last year. October sales growth also in Austria (+12.6%), ensuring market leadership for the fourth time in a row with 27.5%; in France October sales increased of +5.2%, with Stellantis Pro One as leader in all segments; the Netherlands sales registered a strong growth of +110% bringing to leadership with 26.2% MS in total CV market and 28.9% in E-LCV market.
Portugal maintains its strong leadership with 47,13% MS and Peugeot as #1 Brand with almost 20% MS. Stellantis Pro One keeps the podium in the UK with +22.6% sales increase in October 2024 versus October 2023 and 27.9% MS in total LCV market. Leadership also in Spain with 42% MS, reporting Citroën and Peugeot brands as CV and BEV CV market leaders respectively. In Italy Stellantis reports #1 ranking with 38,24% MS, with Fiat Professional as leader with 21,5% MS and Ducato almost 10% MS. Also Poland registers the leadership in CV in October with 24,6% MS.
