  • Jaguar Classic is offering clients more than 30 new body panels for the iconic Jaguar E-type, engineered to exact original specifications for a precise fit
  • Parts range from front frame assemblies to floors and sills, all constructed from mild steel and finished in black eCoat, allowing enthusiasts to restore their vehicles with longevity in mind
  • The new parts ensure all E-types can be cared for with genuine items, ensuring quality, performance, and durability
  • All parts are covered by a JLR aftermarket parts and accessories warranty, lasting up to two years in the UK and Europe, and up to one year elsewhere globally
  • Jaguar Classic offers a comprehensive range of parts, including doors, bonnets, engine and exhaust components, transmissions, interior trim and linings and more

Jaguar Classic is now offering a range of new, high-quality parts for the world-famous E-type, allowing owners to maintain and repair their vehicles with brand new, original-specification parts for maximum compatibility, and durability.

Joining the already extensive range of genuine Classic parts, the expanded selection now includes a number of panels that are often difficult to source. These include front cross member assemblies, front frame assemblies, outer sills and floor panels – all of which contribute to enhanced strength and longevity of a classic vehicle. The front frame assembly, for example, is made using the original in-period Reynolds tubing method – innovative in its design originating in bicycle manufacturing, to keep the strength and characteristic of the part.

Covering Series 1, Series 2 and Series 3 E-types across 3.8-litre and 4.2-litre examples, the experts at Jaguar Classic have designed the parts to the exact specification of the originals. Classic engineers used original drawings combined with 3D CAD modelling to produce new tooling and components. Each component was then scanned and compared to the original drawings and the CAD data to confirm its dimensions all match the original specifications.

Made from mild steel and finished in black eCoat to help prevent corrosion, the panels are strong, durable and precisely finished. Every item can be purchased with confidence thanks to JLR’s standard aftermarket parts and accessories warranty, which lasts for two years in the UK and Europe, and for one year in other countries1.

Dominic Elms, Director, Jaguar Classic, said: “Introducing these parts is a significant development for owners of the iconic E-type. They can have complete confidence the parts will be fully compatible with their vehicle, but also the reassurance of knowing they come direct from the original manufacturer. Every item is subject to the highest possible levels of scrutiny, with a range of quality assurance processes employed across Jaguar Classic ensuring these parts and others allow E-types all over the world to continue being driven and enjoyed for decades to come.”

Highlights from the extensive list of parts available include:

  • Right-hand and left-hand-side member assembly – C15029 and C15030
  • Right-hand and left-hand-side floor panel – BD27374RH and BD27374LH
  • Front frame sub-assembly – C20352
  • Front cross member assembly – C15014
  • Right-hand and left-hand-side sill outer – BD15133 and BD15134

Other E-type genuine Classic parts available from Jaguar Classic include doors, bonnets, other front and rear body panels, seals, engine and exhaust components, transmissions, steering racks, interior trim and lining parts and more.
