The company is maintaining robust sales momentum with its SUVs thanks to the launch of new models, including the all-new SANTA FE and KONA, and strong demand for Hyundai vehicles in major markets.

In November, sales outside Korea increased by 2.1 percent, to 293,518 units. The stabilization of production in its facilities around the globe helped the company achieve solid sales performance in North and South America, Europe and India.

Sales in South Korea increased 18.3 percent in November compared with the same month last year, to 72,058 units. The all-new Grandeur flagship sedan (badged as Azera outside of South Korea) sold 7,980 units, while Hyundai Motor’s SUV models sold 26,783 units collectively in the domestic market. The Genesis luxury brand also maintained strong momentum, with sales of 10,889 units.

Hyundai Motor sold more than 16,000 electric vehicle (EV) models worldwide in November, solidifying its EV leadership in the global market.

From January to November this year, the company sold 3,869,947 units around the globe, up 7.6 percent over the same period a year earlier.
