Hino South Africa’s Guaranteed Future Value (GFV) financing offer for leasing a Hino 700 truck-tractor impressed visitors on the Hino stand at the recent Nampo Harvest Day Agricultural Show in Bothaville, that some believed it was too good to be true. This was until the offer was spelled out in detail and they could understand how it works and that it was, indeed, an amazing, flexible finance solution for hard-pressed truck operators.
“Hino Financial Services, which was established in 2004 as a one-stop shop for truck finance, is continually refreshing its offerings to cater for the tough economic environment that transport operators must contend with in South Africa these days,” says Itumeleng Segage, General Manager of Hino South Africa,
Hino’s GFVo, available on selected 700-Series truck-tractor models, guarantees the value of the truck at the end of the 36-month financing term and offers lower monthly payments for operators to enable them to grow their business while planning for tomorrow. Transport operators can choose a kilometre parameter which suits their requirements, up to a maximum of 120 000 km a year for three years, making a total of 360 000 km.
At the end of the finance period there is a measure of flexibility to either, renew, retain, or return the truck, provided it’s within Fair Wear and Tear and maximum kilometre parameters.
No deposit is payable unless the purchaser decides on an optional deposit. At the end of the term the operator can renew the contract and upgrade to a new model with no additional payments or retain the truck by settling the guaranteed trade in value or one can choose to refinance the outstanding amount with Hino Financial Services. The third option is to return the truck to any Hino dealership and Hino will settle the Guaranteed Trade-in Value.
“This is the first time that Hino South Africa has been able to offer a Guaranteed Future Value financial package, so it is the ideal time to obtain one of our 700 truck-tractors through this cost-effective process,” added Segage.
“Hino trucks have been sold in South Africa for more than 50 years and during that time they have built up a wonderful record for quality, durability, and reliability, while the countrywide dealer network continues to ensure after sales support of the highest level. Locally built and with a comprehensive parts back-up this GFV offering makes now the right time to consider one of the latest 700-series truck-tractors,” concluded the Hino SA General Manager.
