Gianni Colonello is appointed Head of Lancia Design, working closely with the Stellantis Head of European Brands Design, Jean Pierre Ploue, and with the Lancia brand CEO, Luca Napolitano.
He will contribute to the Renaissance plan of Lancia with the objective of making it a respected and credible premium brand in Europe.
Previously, from 2021 to 2024, he was in charge of Interior Design for Lancia, playing a fundamental role in defining the new design language of the brand, leading the creation of the Interiors of the New Ypsilon, of the Lancia Pu+Ra HPE concept, and the full Lancia brand line up.
From 2012 to 2021 Gianni was Chief Interior Designer for the Maserati Brand, following the development of both concept cars and production cars.
Before, he had a 2-year experience in FCA North America Design Center, as Interior Designer for the development of Company shared programs.
He started his professional career in Fiat Auto in 2002, working for several brands within the Design Center and holding various roles of increasing responsibility.
After Classical Studies he graduated in Architecture at I.U.A.V. in Venice (Italy).
