Duncan Minto has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of Alpine, with effect from 1 October 2023.
He joins the Alpine Management Committee and will report directly to Philippe Krief, Alpine CEO, and Thierry Piéton, Renault Group Chief Financial Officer.
With over 25 years of experience within the Renault Group, Duncan Minto joins Alpine as Chief Financial Officer to assist with the brand’s ambitious strategy, international development and expansion of the range with seven new electric vehicles by 2030. He also becomes a member of the brand’s management committee, and reports to Philippe Krief, Alpine CEO.

Philippe Krief, Alpine CEO
A graduate of the University of St Andrews in Scotland, Duncan Minto joined Renault Group in 1997. After holding several positions in finance, he became Chief Financial Officer of Renault-Nissan Portugal in 2006 before becoming Asia-Pacific Chief Financial Officer of Renault Group.
He was promoted to Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at Renault Group in 2017. He then became Dacia CFO in 2022 before joining Alpine in 2023. He succeeds Joana de Epalza, who has decided to leave the Group to pursue personal projects.
