Daimler Truck has sold 112,195 trucks and buses in the second quarter of 2024, a decrease compared to the prior year’s second quarter (Q2 2023: 131,888). The segment Trucks North America contributed 48,230 units to the Group’s overall unit sales (Q2 2023: 50,618).
Mercedes-Benz achieved 30,604 unit sales (Q2 2023: 39,236). Trucks Asia reported 28,342 sold units (Q2 2023: 40,097). Daimler Buses increased its unit sales by 8% to 6,648 units (Q2 2023: 6,181). Unit Sales of battery-electric vehicles significantly increased by 69% to 648 vehicles (Q2 2023: 383). In the first half of the year, Daimler Truck sold 221,106 trucks and buses (1.HY 2023: 257,060 units).
