  • As Fieracavalli 2025 main partner, RAM introduces the European preview of Rampage, a premium compact lifestyle pick-up matching and anticipating the customers’ needs in between C-SUV and Midsize pick-up.
  • Through this pioneering strategy, RAM previews a vehicle filling a whitespace of the industry, with a value proposition focused on everyday driveability, without sacrificing load capacity, utility and capability.
  • The model is presented in two versions: the Rebel, designed for off-road use and powered by a recently introduced 2.2 Multijet Turbo Diesel engine delivering 200 hp/450 Nm; and the R/T, sportier thanks to a powerful 272 hp/400 Nm 2.0 Hurricane 4 Turbo Petrol engine.
  • Thanks to the powerful 4×4 traction, RAM Rampage is the perfect vehicle for both daily activities and leisure passions and perfectly embodies the brand’s core pillars – force, capability, premiumness and technology.
  • Striking design with optimised proportions, full-LED signature lighting with dynamic side indicators and fog lights with cornering function, 980-litre load bed; Rebel styling with technical finishes and Pirelli Seal Inside All-Terrain tyres, R/T styling with lowered suspension and 19-inch wheels.
  • Driver-oriented interiors with soft-touch materials and leather or suede dashboard, 12.3-inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity and 10.3-inch cluster, Harman Kardon® 10-speaker audio system, RAM Charger with six USB ports, 35.4 litres of smart storage compartments.
  • RAM Rampage is exceptionally equipped with a level of premiumness and attributes that make it stand out in its class: providing an Active Driver Assist, Level 2 ADAS package includes features as Traffic Jam Assist, Hands-off Detection, and Highway Assist.

Attending Fieracavalli 2025 in the role of main partner, RAM took the opportunity to introduce the Rampage model in a European preview to a community perfectly aligned with the product’s placement. With this model, the first RAM vehicle entirely designed and produced in Brazil, the brand aims to redefine the concept of pick-up trucks. In front of journalists, interested audience and industry stakeholders, the brand unveiled the compact pick-up to validate the potential of a commercial launch that would represent the introduction of an absolute novelty on the European market: a premium compact lifestyle pick-up that would fill a gap between compact SUVs and traditional pick-ups, positioning itself in the heart of the C segment and thus satisfying the needs of customers on the continent.

“Bringing Rampage to Europe would mark a bold new chapter for RAM. With its uncompromising design, premium features, and powerful performance, Rampage is more than a compact pick-up — it’s a lifestyle statement. Fieracavalli is the perfect stage to showcase a vehicle that embodies RAM’s core values of strength, capability, premiumness, and cutting-edge technology, tailored for the European customer.” declared Fabio Catone – Head of RAM brand in Europe.

The preview strategy replicates the pioneering approach already seen with the RAM 1500: possibly anticipating the needs of European customers by bringing a product with distinctive features to a different market from its original one, with a value proposition focused on everyday driveability, without sacrificing load capacity, utility and capability typical of the pick-up world. Indeed, the Rampage is designed for those who seek a versatile vehicle, suitable for both daily activities and leisure passions, aiming to satisfy customers dissatisfied with the limitations of traditional mid-size pickups and SUVs, offering an alternative that combines comfort, drivability, and premium technological features. The model perfectly embodies the brand’s core pillars – force, capability, premiumness and technology – and is presented in two versions, both on display at Fieracavalli: the Rebel one, designed for off-road and outdoor activities, and the R/T one, with more sporty and elegant features, in line with the brand’s DNA.

Striking presence and exclusive details

The exterior totally embodies the RAM language for a ‘muscular’ stage presence from every perspective. Particular attention has been paid to the volume’s proportions: 5,028 mm in length, 1,886 mm in width and 1,716 mm in height ensure urban agility and stability outside the city. Attention to detail is evident in the full-LED signature of the headlights, which integrate dual-function lamps (high/low beam) and dynamic side indicators, emphasising the visual width of the vehicle. The fog lights are also LED with cornering function, supporting visibility on mixed surfaces and when manoeuvring, while the rear adopts a light cluster interface with graphics that, when illuminated, resemble the United States flag, with red stripes and the reversing light forming the stars and stripes.

The Rebel version stands out for its exterior with technical inserts, extensive use of black and graphite finishes, specific 235/65 R17 All-Terrain tyres with Pirelli Seal Inside technology and functional off-road details; the trapezoidal wheels and grille feature an exclusive design. On the other hand, the R/T version focuses on a more streamlined and sporty aesthetic, with a visual set-up that reflects its performance: dedicated wheels, glossy black details and specific graphics on the bonnet. The R/T version also gets stiffer suspension springs and dampers, a 10 mm lower ride height, and 19-inch wheels with 235/55 tyres; the sporty package is rounded off by a black roof. The result is a compact pick-up with a 980-litre load bed, ideal for sports and professional equipment.

Luxurious interiors for a driver-oriented environment

The interiors raise the segment standard with premium materials and features: soft-touch seats inspired by lounge comfort, such as Suede and, for the R/T version (Race/Track), perforated suede leather with exclusive red stitching to further enhance the sporty look; dual-zone climate control with rear air vents and an enhanced environment with LED ambient lighting. The dashboard is covered in leather, black in the Rebel version and suede in the R/T, as are the front door panel, centre armrest and multifunction steering wheel with height and depth adjustment. The Rebel version’s steering wheel features a Sport button, which shifts the digital instrument cluster’s appearance, quickens throttle and steering response, and schedules gear changes at higher speeds; in the R/T version, this control takes the version’s name and further modifies these items.

The infotainment system is structured around a 12.3‘central display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, while the 10.3’ full-digital cluster and Harman Kardon® premium audio system with  9 speakers and a dedicated 6″ subwoofer (360 W) complete the on-board experience. Another key feature on the large centre console are six USB ports, including three Type-C ports. Ergonomics are driver-focused with streamlined controls, a rotary gear selector and new HMI logic to reduce distractions. The R/T version introduces a sports steering wheel, specific finishes and a more driver-oriented cockpit, while the Rebel prioritises durable, easily washable surfaces, consistent with outdoor usage. A functional plus is the storage capacity in the interior: a total of 35.4 litres between closed and open compartments, useful for mixed work/leisure purposes.

Maximum driving fun and off-road versatility

The Rampage is designed in two distinct versions each tailored to satisfy different customer needs: the R/T trim, bringing back to the 70s with the acronym meaning the best in terms of performance and sportiness, with a powerful 2.0 Hurricane 4 Turbo Petrol engine with 400 Nm of torque delivering 272 horsepower and up to 220km/h, designed for maximum driving fun; and the Rebel one, embracing a soul more linked to off-road and workhorse approach thanks to a robust 2.2 Multijet Turbo Diesel engine delivering 200 horsepower, with 450 Nm of torque, which also reduces fuel consumption and increases the vehicle’s agility for any need, reaching a payload capacity of 1.015kg that brings it in line with larger vehicles and  grained bumpers for a better protection.

In the R/T version, the Rampage sprints 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds and reaches a top speed (limited) of 220 km/h. In the Rebel, performance is breathtaking as well: 0-100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and a top speed of 196 km/h. To manage all the power of these two engines, the powertrain is at the highest level. All Rampage versions are equipped with a nine-speed automatic transmission, with a rotary selector and the option for manual shifting via paddles on the steering wheel. In turn, the traction is always 4×4 automatic, distributing power between the two axles, with the option of reducing the gears (4WD Low) via a button on the centre console.

The vehicle’s set-up, supported by the ground clearance and tyres, has been designed to offer improved approach, departure and breakover angles. The model is equipped with a multilink suspension system on both axles, calibrated to transfer a “car feel” without sacrificing capability and functionality. Steer-by-wire and hill start assist are supported by standard Hill Descent Control, while braking is provided by ventilated four-wheel brake discs (305 mm diameter at the front and 320 mm at the rear), with an electric parking brake and Auto Hold function. The R/T version benefits from further refinement in terms of comfort thanks to a softer front suspension setting that does not detract from its sporting DNA.

Latest generation technology and 2-level ADAS

On-board technology and vehicle dynamics constitute the RAM Rampage’s true competitive advantage. The vehicle is exceptionally equipped and boasts sophisticated options in the truck segment, offering a level of premiumness and features that make it stand out in its class. In terms of driving assistance, the list of safety features is wide-ranging: both model versions offer a standard Level 2 ADAS package, supported by a latest-generation safety and infotainment platform. Providing an Active Driver Assist, the package includes features as Traffic Jam Assist and Highway Assist, automatically adjusting the vehicle speed and lane position based on driver selection and road traffic on highways; and Hands-off Detection, a technology capable of detecting the electricity in the body responding to the driver’s touch at the steering wheel, thanks to a built-in sensors system.

The vehicle’s equipment is completed by a suite designed for end-to-end handling, including: frontal collision alert with mitigation and autonomous emergency braking and detection of pedestrians and cyclists; Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Lane Departure Warning Plus, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and automatic headlights. The aim is to enable relaxed driving on long journeys and superior control in demanding manoeuvres and urban environments. In addition, seven airbags are fitted for passive security. The Rampage’s standard features are completed by remote key start, the Keyless Enter’n Go system, electrochromic interior rear-view mirror, twilight and rain sensors, and electric exterior rear-view mirrors with electric folding and courtesy lights.

RAM main partner of Fieracavalli 2025

RAM Trucks begins a new era, marking its entrance into the equestrian world through a partnership with Fieracavalli. Built on shared values and connection with this world, the partnership sees the RAM participate at Fieracavalli 2025 in the role of main partner. The event, taking place from 6 to 9 November in the stunning setting of Verona, represents an international benchmark for the segment and is the only World Cup’s Italian race. The sponsorship involves a leading role for RAM, which is also the Title Sponsor of Hall 8.

At the same time, RAM Trucks starts a partnership with Scuderia 1918 too, a leading global brand in this field. By joining forces, the two renowned brands bring together two worlds in the name of performance. As part of the partnership, over the coming months, RAM will provide the Scuderia 1918 team with some of its most high-performance models to support their movements within the stables as well as during official events. Perfectly suitable for these activities, RAM trucks combine impressive towing power with off-road capability, making riders’ and grooms’ daily routines smoother, more efficient, and ready for peak performance.
