Nissan Formula E team finishes 4th and 5th in Jakarta

JAKARTA, Indonesia – Nissan Formula E Team took their best result of the season in Jakarta, with Sacha Fenestraz and Norman Nato both putting in excellent performances to take fourth and fifth respectively in Round 11 of the 2022/23 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. announced that the 10th and 11th rounds of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season 9 was held in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 3rd and 4th. participated in the battle. Despite failing to score points in Round 10, Sasha Fenestraz and Norman Nato finished 4th and 5th respectively in Round 11.

In the 11th round, Fenestraz showed speed from qualifying and advanced to the duel stage. He started the race from 7th place and moved up to 4th place at the end of the first lap.

Nato, on the other hand, started the race from 12th and managed to avoid an accident to move up to 5th.

Thanks to their efforts, the team scored a total of 22 points, the highest of the season.

The next race is June 24th, the final singles race of the season will be held for the first time in Portland, USA.

Tommaso Volpe, General Manager of Nissan Formula E and Managing Director of the Nissan Formula E Team, said: “Round 10 was a tough race, but the second day, Round 11, was a really good race. We were in contention for the podium and Nato had a great race with solid defense in the final laps. We hope to keep this good momentum going into the next round in Portland and score more points.” rice field.
