Jean-Eric Vergne has set a new record! By picking up 14 valuable points during the Misano E Prix from April 13-14, JEV is now the driver who has scored the most points – 1047 – in the history of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
Jean-Eric Vergne has been at the forefront of Formula E since starting his career in the all-electric series back in 2014, thanks to his performance and consistency. The Frenchman is Formula E’s only two-time champion, claiming his titles in 2018 and 2019, and has also greatly contributed to the two constructors’ titles won by DS Automobiles in 2019 and 2020: the brand for which he is a global ambassador.
Up to today, Jean-Eric Vergne has 121 races, 34 podiums, 11 victories, 15 pole positions, and two driver titles to his name. An exceptional record of achievement, sealed partly with the French constructor, together with a team of engineers who have been around him for several years.
Driving the number 25 DS E-TENSE FE23 developed by DS Performance for the DS PENSKE team, Jean-Éric Vergne is a regular star on the E-Prix calendar all over the world, and a key contributor to the reputation of the DS Automobiles brand.
Round eight of Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E championship will take place in Monaco on April 27.
