After the success of the New Lancia Ypsilon Edizione Cassina, Lancia and Cassina, two premium Made-In-Italy brands, have once again teamed up for Milan Design Week 2025, the prestigious event taking place from April 7th to 13th. These leaders in their respective fields—the automotive and interior design industries—have found common purpose in their shared core values, such as the Italian spirit and a commitment to research, innovation, and sustainability. The combination of these elements gave rise to the exclusive New Ypsilon Edizione Cassina, a vehicle in which comfort, elegance, and attention-to-detail come together to create a sophisticated vision of design.
Throughout Design Week 2025, Lancia will provide Cassina with an exclusive courtesy-car service with three New Ypsilon Edizione Cassina models. The vehicles will also be used by guests and VIPs to travel between the Cassina Store Milano and the Teatro Lirico Giorgio Gaber. The latter will host the Staging Modernity installation, which pays tribute to the 60th anniversary of the Le Corbusier®, Pierre Jeanneret® and Charlotte Perriand® collections edited by Cassina.
An authentic manifesto of comfort and Italian elegance, the Ypsilon Edizione Cassina stands out for its captivating Lancia Blue livery on the exteriors and its attention to detail and warm and refined atmosphere in the interiors. The collaboration with Cassina is visible in the carefully curated stylistic details and the choice in materials and colors, which heighten the feeling that you are at home no matter where the car might be.
These include the exclusive multifunctional tavolino bearing the Cassina name, the Lancia blue velvet on the heated and massaging seats with a ribbed weave, and the refined and sustainable materials created by revisiting certain traditional elements, such as the recycled velvet of the historic “Panno Lancia”.
The Ypsilon Edizione Cassina, the best-in-class B-segment premium hatchback, comes in 100% electric or hybrid engines, putting it at the top of the segment in terms of versatility, efficiency, and environmental friendliness. Moreover, the best-in-class version is the only vehicle in its category which offers Level 2 autonomous driving as standard, as well as a sophisticated S.A.L.A. infotainment system—i.e. the virtual and smart interface that guarantees a comfortable driving experience which is in line with Lancia’s effortless technology. Additionally, the large 10.25” display, the best standard parking aid system, and the greatest exterior lighting system in terms of technology and extent all come standard.
It is also important to point out that the partnership between Lancia and Cassina goes far beyond this masterpiece on the move. For instance, the Casa Lancia, the remodeled showrooms featuring the brand’s new corporate identity, include refined pieces of Cassina furniture which, together with the fine materials and the alternation of light and dark tones, offer the trademark warmth and comfort of Italian dwellings.
After all, the Casa Lancia are not mere showrooms, but genuine boutiques where the customer is provided with an all-encompassing brand experience. Moreover, these spaces are further enhanced by the natural light which filters through the structure’s large windows, illuminating the vehicles on display as if they were sculptures to be admired in every single detail.
