Jaguar Type 00 makes its Monaco debut this weekend on a bespoke floating ocean terrace set against the glistening Mediterranean Sea. This unexpected presentation in the jewel of the Côte d’Azur provides the perfect stage for Type 00’s bold proportions and dramatic silhouette, promising an unforgettable showcase of Jaguar’s design vision.
Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar said, “Following Type 00’s European debut at Paris Fashion Week, we’re excited to bring the brand to Monaco, the ideal backdrop to showcase Jaguar’s vision for the future of automotive luxury.”
Invited guests were given exclusive access to Type 00 on the ocean terrace, as crowds began arriving in Monaco for the most prestigious race in the Formula E calendar.
Type 00 appears in French Ultramarine, a bespoke colour developed in-house by the Jaguar creative team. The paint uses a pigment unique to Jaguar with added metallic content and a satin-like finish that adorns Type 00’s unique, fearless form.
The debut in Monaco follows a viral sighting of Type 00 on the streets of Paris during Fashion Week. A host of celebrity A-listers, including Saltburn star Barry Keoghan, actor Jamie Dornan and Oscar winning actress Zoë Saldaña were photographed arriving at glamorous locations throughout the city in Jaguar’s unmistakable design vision concept car.
Type 00 previews what’s to come from Jaguar, as the brand recaptures the original ‘Copy Nothing’ ethos of its founder, Sir William Lyons. Its world premiere was at Miami Art Week in December 2024.
