ISUZU Motors South Africa proudly celebrates IRONMAN South Africa African Championship 20th anniversary, marking two decades of success and growth in the country.
Since 2009, ISUZU and IRONMAN South Africa African Championship have built a powerful, mutually beneficial partnership. What started as an official vehicle sponsor has grown into a title sponsorship, reinforcing the strong connection between the two brands.
As IRONMAN South Africa African Championship celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, ISUZU Motors South Africa remains fully committed to this collaboration, embodying their promise of being “With you for the long run.” The partnership not only reflects the shared values of excellence and endurance but also underscores their combined efforts in supporting and growing local communities.

“This enduring partnership has yielded significant benefits for both entities. For ISUZU, our association with IRONMAN has enhanced brand visibility and alignment with the values of determination and durability inherent in endurance sports. Our vehicles have been showcased prominently, providing logistical support essential for the seamless execution of these large-scale events,” says Ziphindiwe Ngcobo, Department Executive: Marketing at ISUZU.
“For the past 16 years, ISUZU has been a key partner in the success of IRONMAN South Africa. Their unwavering support, from providing reliable vehicles to ensuring seamless logistics, has played a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for both athletes and spectators. We are proud to continue this partnership as we work together to elevate the spirit of endurance and community.” says Michele Bronkhorst, Operations Director for IRONMAN South Africa.

This year the unique challenge will raise funds for Ironman4Kidz, an ISUZU-sponsored charity trust that supports over 20 children’s charities across the country.
Join ISUZU and the official 1% challenger, Rugby World Cup winner and Springbok legend Victor Matfield, on Friday, 28 March from 14:30 to 16:00 and Sunday, 29 March from 06:00 to 12:00 at the entrance to the Boardwalk Mall (seaside).
