Euro NCAP is one of the world’s most authoritative automotive safety assessment bodies. Its assessment covers multiple safety dimensions, including Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable Road User Protection, and Safety Assist. TIGGO8 earned high scores across all major assessment areas—achieving 82% in Adult Occupant Protection, 85% in Child Occupant Protection, 80% in Vulnerable Road User Protection, and 78% in Safety Assist. These results reflect the vehicle’s strong performance in both passive and active safety, ultimately securing the prestigious five-star rating.
This outstanding performance is the result of Chery’s continuous refinement of its vehicle safety architecture. TIGGO8 is built around an ultra-rigid body frame that utilizes 65% high-strength steel and hot-formed steel.
