In the highly competitive automotive market, the TIGGO 9 PHEV, a star plug – in hybrid model of the TIGGO family, has been unwaveringly committed to the pursuit of ultimate quality and performance.

Recently, the TIGGO 9 PHEV bravely ventured into the extreme cold region at 53°26’29’’ north latitude, where the temperature dropped to -37°C. It carried out a rigorous winter test focusing on items such as snowy day safety, endurance mileage, charging efficiency, and air – conditioning heating.

Fearless in Low Temperatures, Worry – free Endurance Range

In extreme cold environments, the endurance performance of both traditional fuel – powered vehicles and pure electric vehicles is affected by low temperatures to varying degrees. However, the TIGGO 9 PHEV, with its advanced Q – Power super hybrid technology, demonstrates outstanding endurance stability. Its intelligent power switching system can accurately switch between pure electric and hybrid modes according to driving conditions and battery power. In low – temperature environments, the engine can intervene in a timely manner to charge the battery and provide additional power, ensuring that the vehicle’s endurance mileage is not significantly reduced by low temperatures.

After a long and stringent field test, the results show that under extreme cold conditions, the pure – electric endurance of the TIGGO 9 PHEV reaches 94 kilometers, with an excellent achievement rate. Its nearly 1000 – kilometer comprehensive endurance can meet the needs of users for long – distance travel in winter. This series of performances enable the TIGGO 9 PHEV to truly achieve worry – free endurance during winter travel, bringing users a reassuring and reliable travel experience.

Cutting – edge Technology, Safety Assured

During the rigorous winter tests in extreme cold conditions, icy and snow – covered roads are fraught with dangers. Key components of the vehicle, such as the braking system, body stability system, and tires, have to face the harsh tests of nature. However, since its development, the TIGGO 9 PHEV has taken safety as its core and strived to build an impregnable safety line.

The TIGGO 9 PHEV is equipped with Bosch’s latest IPB wire – controlled system, which can be regarded as the “braking guard” on ice and snow roads. In extremely cold environments, ordinary braking systems often experience slow response and a significant reduction in braking performance. However, Bosch’s latest IPB wire – controlled system can quickly respond to the driver’s braking commands, and its braking performance does not decay at all. The braking distance is significantly shortened compared with similar vehicles. This means that in case of an emergency, the TIGGO 9 PHEV can stop faster and more stably, buying precious safety time for the people in the vehicle.

At the same time, the body stability system uses advanced sensors and algorithms to monitor the vehicle’s driving state in real – time. On ice and snow roads, it accurately regulates the power output and braking force distribution of each wheel to prevent dangerous situations such as vehicle sideslip and tail – flick.

In addition, the tires equipped on the TIGGO 9 PHEV maintain good flexibility and grip under extreme cold conditions, laying a solid foundation for the vehicle’s safe driving.

Pleasant Drive, Infinite Comfort

In extreme cold environments, the in – car comfort experience is particularly important. The TIGGO 9 PHEV can be remotely controlled via a mobile phone APP with a one – key heating function, which can start the heating of the driver and passenger seats, air – conditioning heating, and vehicle front defrosting functions with one click. Stepping into a warm and comfortable car in the icy and snowy extreme cold environment is undoubtedly a happy encounter. Before going out, just a few taps on the mobile phone can start the heating function, simultaneously turning on the heating of the driver and passenger seats, air – conditioning heating, and vehicle front defrosting functions. When you approach your car, the interior is already surrounded by warmth, and the frost on the glass has long since disappeared, eliminating the hassle of cleaning the windows. At the same time, its high – efficiency air – conditioning system has a rapid heating capacity and can raise the in – car temperature in a short time, allowing passengers to quickly bid farewell to the cold.

According to the test results, in an environment of – 20°C, it only takes 10 minutes for the average temperature of the front – row feet of the TIGGO 9 PHEV to rise to 25°C. In addition, its front – row seats are equipped with a 10 – point massage and heating function, and the heating speed is fast, bringing a warm and pleasant riding experience to passengers. Moreover, the air – conditioning system of the TIGGO 9 PHEV is powered by the battery, eliminating the need to start the engine. Therefore, there is no engine noise when passengers enjoying the air-conditioning system, making it quieter, more environmentally friendly, and energy – efficient.

At present, the Chinese automotive industry is rising strongly and moving towards the center of the global automotive stage. The Chery Group, with its outstanding achievements, has become an influential business card of the Chinese automotive industry. In 2024, Chery’s annual revenue exceeded 480 billion yuan, a year – on – year increase of over 50%; its sales volume reached 2.6 million units, an increase of 38.4%; and its annual export volume exceeded 1.14 million units, a year – on – year increase of 21.4%. Through independent innovation, Chery has established its competitive edge in the global hybrid field, also confirming that technological innovation has always been the key to Chery’s leadership.

Through this winter test in the extreme cold region, the TIGGO 9 PHEV, with its excellent performance, has fully demonstrated its product strength of “worry – free endurance, worry – free safety, and infinite beauty”. In the future, the TIGGO 9 PHEV will continue to uphold Chery’s innovative spirit, continuously improve product quality, provide consumers with more high – quality and reliable travel options, and lead the plug – in hybrid automotive industry to new heights.
