Renault Trafic E-Tech electric: versatility champion

The first model in the new generation of all-electric vans to arrive on our roads, Renault Trafic E-Tech electric will be on show at Solutrans in its production version, before taking to the road in late 2026.

Developed on an innovative “skateboard” platform, it is remarkably compact and agile for driving in the city. At the same time, load capacity is maximised by the rear-mounted engine and short overhang.

Featuring 800V technology, Trafic E-Tech electric charges from 15 to 80% in around 20 minutes for a range of up to 450 km WLTP (NMC long range battery) or almost 350 km WLTP (LFP standard battery with no rare metals). The electric motor delivers 150 kW and 345 Nm, for performance and efficiency..

With the SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) architecture developed by Ampere, Trafic E-Tech electric is hyper-connected, scalable, and able to receive automatic updates. It also ships with V2L (Vehicle To Load) and V2G (Vehicle To Grid) technologies, with advanced digital integration for business users.

Built in France at Sandouville, it is a modern vehicle with a disruptive cockpit design, generous storage space and reinforced safety features. It also enables digital personalisation and management for each business area.

Converted By Renault: Consolidating brand leadership in vehicle conversions

For over 125 years, Renault has provided business users with innovative solutions and personalised adaptations, helping them to simplify and develop their activities.

On average, over half of all Renault LCVs are converted. The brand is a major player in a number of segments including ambulances, public works, mobile workshops, animal transport, shops on wheels, tipper trucks, refrigerated vehicles, breakdown vehicles, high-capacity trucks and vehicles suitable for passengers of reduced mobility.

Renault’s diverse LCV range (Express, Kangoo, Trafic, Master) offers an extremely broad basis for conversion: interior space ranging from 3.3 to over 20 m³, van, platform or chassis cab, up to four lengths and three heights, ICE or electric powertrains, front- or rear-wheel drive, a range of doors and windows, etc. Each vehicle is designed with numerous features to facilitate customisation and adaptation, including during the manufacturing phase.

Renault has upgraded its industrial process to be able to carry out the most frequently requested conversions by the customers. This means that conversion requirements (special equipment, interior fittings, adaptation for specific activities, etc.) are therefore carried out directly in the factory and in the Qstomize workshops, which take over at the end of the line.

This approach takes the name of Converted By Renault, a label delivering made-to-measure solutions for customers. The objective is to cut delivery times and costs, while maintaining the Renault guarantee of quality and compliance.

“The Converted By Renault label covers the conversions most frequently requested by our business customers. We have integrated these customised versions into our factories and our Qstomize workshops at the end of the chain, in order to offer professionals vehicles that are perfectly suited to their specific needs, with manufacturer-guaranteed quality.

Through this industrial approach, we are able to meet the expectations of our business customers for shorter delivery times, lower costs and reliability. We have successfully rolled out the Converted By Renault offer for Renault Master, and we will be doing the same for new Renault Trafic Van E-Tech electric.”

Zakaria Zeghari, VP Sales & Marketing, Renault LCVs

The ready-made solutions of Converted By Renault cover most of the needs expressed by business customers. For tailor made projects, the brand relies on its network of 300 approved bodybuilders, selected in compliance with stringent quality and management standards. The approval, valid for three years and followed by an annual assessment, enables approved bodybuilders to offer vehicles that have been converted, validated and approved by the manufacturer, with a high level of quality.

Approved bodybuilders also play an active role in the brand’s products by participating actively in the upstream development phases to ensure that Renault commercial vehicles are always designed to be converted.

Renault 4 E-Tech electric Van

Presented in September 2025, Renault 4 E-Tech electric Van is making its public debut in two exclusive liveries.

Designed to meet the needs of business users looking for versatility and modular design, these versions offer a range of up to 409 km WLTP, a payload of 345 kg and optimised load capacity. The Reversible Fleet version lets users switch easily from an LCV to a five-seater configuration, while the Fleet Van version offers an exceptional load area.

Built in France, converted by Qstomize and implementing the principles of eco-design, these efficient, comfortable vehicles illustrate Renault’s new approach to sustainable business mobility.

Mobilize

The Mobilize brand, dedicated to new forms of mobility, will also be present, offering concrete and sustainable solutions for professionals, road transport and urban transport. Duo and Duo Pro, the 100% electric quadricycles, will be on display.
