  • 2025 is kicking off with the 101st edition of the world-renowned Brussels Motor Show, where Lancia will be shining by showcasing the first vehicles of its Renaissance: the New Ypsilon hybrid & full electric. Showcased also the Ypsilon Rally4 HF marking the return of Lancia in Rally in 2025.
  • The New Ypsilon ranks at the top of the premium B-segment category for its versatility and technological innovation.
  • The offering consists of three versions: the New Ypsilon, as a landing stage in the world of Italian elegance; the New Ypsilon LX, a true status symbol; and finally, the New Ypsilon EDIZIONE CASSINA, a veritable manifesto of comfort.
  • The brand’s stand will also feature Ypsilon Rally4 HF, which have been developed and fine-tuned by Miki Biasion, the motorsport legend and World Rally Champion with Lancia, who will make a highly anticipated appearance at the Belgian event.
  • Lancia made its return to Belgium and Luxembourg in September with the official launch of the new Lancia Ypsilon. Ten new showrooms and 14 service points have been opened to date.

At the 101st edition of the Brussels Motor Show, taking place from January 11th to 19th, Lancia will be showcasing its most recent creations—the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF and Ypsilon in electric and hybrid configurations —to highlight its unstoppable Renaissance, i.e., its solid and ambitious roadmap which is once again making it a desirable, respected, and trustworthy brand within the European premium market.

The star of the show will be the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF. Specifically designed for racing, it is equipped with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder engine which delivers 212 HP and features a 5-speed dog ring gearbox and mechanical limited-slip differential. The front-wheel-drive configuration guarantees agility and high performance, making it ideal for young drivers who want to make a name for themselves. The category in which the fundamentals of the sport are honed, the Rally 4 category represents pure passion and the first step for tomorrow’s champions.

Moreover, debuting with the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, the thrilling “Trofeo Lancia Rally” will take place across 6 races of the 2025 Italian Rally Championship, with the individual-race and end-of-season winnings totaling around €300,000 for the category winners and the trophy’s champ. The latter will then have a chance to drive the Lancia Corse HF team’s official Ypsilon Rally 4 HF led by Eugenio Franzetti, who is vastly experienced in the motorsport world. The bold Ypsilon Rally 4 HF can already be ordered through the Stellantis Motorsport Racing Shop and is available for €74,500.

For the fine-tuning of new model, the brand looked to Miki Biasion, a true motorsports legend who, between the 80s and 90s, became inextricably linked to Lancia and went on to become the most successful Italian driver in history. Moreover, the track is an important testing ground for improving the technology and safety on all of the series’ vehicles. In the case of the New Ypsilon, the Veneto-born champ reserved particular praise for this “transfer” which allowed the Lancia model to set itself apart in terms of reactivity, comfort, and quietness both on windy hill courses and city roads.

Behind the iconic Delta of the Martini Racing team, Biasion won the 1988 and 1989 World Championships, helping Lancia become the most successful brand ever with ten World Constructors’ Championships, three Constructors’ and Endurance World Championships, one 1000 Miglia, two Targa Florio, and one Carrera Panamericana.

In what is sure to be an emotional day, Miki Biasion will do the honor of inaugurating the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF in person on January 10th, the first day of the Brussels Motor Show.

The star of Lancia’s display area is the New Ypsilon, in Hybrid and Electric configurations. Specifically, the line-up consists of three versions for three different types of customers: the elegant New Lancia Ypsilon, dedicated to younger customers; the New Lancia Ypsilon LX, the highest spec and fullest version; the EDIZIONE CASSINA, for those who want to feel at home in the car. Each trim level refers to the elegant yet sustainable concept of feeling at home, in perfect Lancia style, culminating in the exclusive EDIZIONE CASSINA, the epitome of design, comfort, and well-being. Among other events, a top-of-the-range version featured in a journey in stages that set off from Milan in the morning on July 11, arriving in Perugia that afternoon.

The sinuous shapes of the New Lancia Ypsilon are inspired by the models that have made history for the brand, just like the round taillights, a clear reference to the Lancia Stratos, and the iconic “chalice” on the front, now revisited in three beams of LED light. Not to mention the fact that the New Lancia Ypsilon is the first Stellantis production car with the S.A.L.A. system, the smart virtual interface that ensures a comfortable driving experience in line with Lancia’s effortless technology. The Italian brand’s new creation is also best-in-class in the premium hatchback B-segment, courtesy of the most comprehensive specifications in its category: a large 10.25” display, the best standard parking aid system, and the greatest exterior lighting system in terms of technology and extent. It is also the only model in the segment equipped with Level 2 Autonomous Driving as standard.

Every version in the line-up is available in electric and hybrid configurations, making the model a segment leader in terms of versatility, efficiency, and respect for the environment. Specifically, the hybrid version is powered by a latest-generation hybrid engine, with a 100-hp (74-kW) 1.2-liter engine and 3-cylinder 48V technology, pairing maximum efficiency with the utmost reliability. Conversely, the 100% electric version embodies the brand’s vision in terms of range, charging time and efficiency for segment-leading performance. The model is equipped with a 156-hp/115-kW power unit and a 51-kWh battery, to ensure a range of up to 403 km (WLTP combined cycle) and fast charging in 24 minutes (from 20% to 80%) or enough for 100 km in 10 minutes.

Lastly, it’s important to note that Lancia celebrated its return to Belgium-Luxembourg last September with the inauguration of six showrooms in Aartselaar, Overijse, Kortrijk, Ghent, Gilly and Bertrange, and the recent addition of locations in Drogenbos, Hasselt, Namur and Herstal. as well as 14 service points. After all, an internationalization process is an essential part of Lancia’s Renaissance, which includes an initial network of 70 new showrooms in 70 major European cities. The first markets involved are France, Spain, Belgium-Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and, by 2025, Germany. All of these showrooms will feature the brand’s new corporate identity, which reflects the four pillars at the foundation of its strategic plan: quality, electrification, sustainability, and an innovative sales model.
