  • Jeep introduces the Gladiator FarOut final edition to celebrate the farewell of the model, which will be out of production in the last quarter of this year.
  • The farewell of Jeep Gladiator in Europe, available as diesel only, marks a further step in the electrification of the Jeep brand –– which will see three – in addition to the all-new Avenger – fully-electric vehicles hitting the market by 2025.
  • The bold and versatile pickup truck shares the Wrangler’s DNA in terms of unparalleled all-terrain capability and open-air freedom.
  • Based on Gladiator Overland, the FarOut Final Edition features premium and practical elements such as leather heated seats and steering wheel, LED front and rear lights, Alpine Premium Audio and a body-color 3-piece hardtop for open-air adventures.

Since its launch in 2021, the Jeep Gladiator has always stood out in its segment. Both capable of meeting the practical needs of cargo carriage and perfectly suited to leisure time and everyday activities thanks to its versatility, this lifestyle all-terrain pickup has allowed customers to set themselves apart and live every moment to the fullest, with no limits or compromises.

To celebrate the definitive end of sales of the Jeep Gladiator in Europe as a result of the Brand’s roadmap to going fully electric, Jeep has designed the unique “FarOut” Final Edition, which is already available to order.
“The Jeep Gladiator is the most iconic Jeep truck” said Eric Laforge, Head of Jeep Brand in Europe “and the FarOut Final Edition represents the proper tribute to its popularity and success. The Jeep Brand priority is now the electrification of the entire line-up with additional three new full electric vehicles that will be launched in Europe within 2025″.

The Brand’s heritage
Almost 30 years after the launch of the last Jeep model with “truck” credentials and a bed (the Comanche from 1986 to 1992), the launch of the Jeep Gladiator in Europe marked a major return for the brand in the pickup segment. The Gladiator put the Brand back on the pickup map and perfectly fit into a Jeep tradition which goes way back to 1947, when Willys Overland introduced a one-ton truck with four-wheel drive based on the CJ-2A. Jeep’s first pickup was followed over almost half a century by different models – all of which were made to be robust, versatile and reliable.

This well-established tradition was brought back to life by the Gladiator, a highly versatile pickup featuring a distinct lifestyle appeal that shares the Jeep Wrangler’s DNA in terms of unparalleled all-terrain capability and open-air freedom. At the same time, with a blend of advanced technology, a powerful and reliable engine, convenience, functionality and flexibility in transporting cargo, it is a model specifically designed and engineered to be a 100% pickup with “go anywhere, do anything” features.

FarOut Final Edition: authentic Jeep design and capabilities, with a focus on premiumness
Built on the Jeep Gladiator Overland trim, the FarOut Final Edition features a rugged, distinguished design that is immediately recognizable with traditional Jeep design cues – such as the legendary seven-slot grille inherited from Wrangler – and specific details. A “FarOut Edition” metallic plaque on the tailgate and the black freedom fender decals abve the wheel arches provide this special version with even more personality. For an authentic and unique exterior style, the Jeep Gladiator FarOut also offers as standard deep tint sunscreen glass and 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels with gloss black paint. Mopar black tubular side steps add functionality and practicality, completing the aesthetic characterization which is specific to this special-edition model. For easy open-air adventures that ensure maximum freedom to travel in every season in both the city and off the beaten track, a body-color 3-piece hardtop and the Mopar hard top headliner also come as standard.

The Jeep Gladiator’s interior combines authentic styling, comfort and versatility, thanks to the numerous storage compartments. Fully washable interiors represent another exclusive feature in the segment. To enhance the premiumness of the interiors, the FarOut edition offers premium McKinley leather seats, heated seats and heated steering wheel as standard. In addition, the protective Spray-In Bedliner keeps cargo secure while adding further customization.

Moreover, the Jeep Gladiator stands out for its all-round functionality and user-friendly features, which have been enhanced in the FarOut  Final edition, with a standard 9-speaker Premium Alpine Audio System including a rear subwoofer, LED lights, passive entry and smoker’s group. The Gladiator FarOut also offers an array of active and passive safety and security features: standard safety systems include Security alarm, Blind Spot Detection, Full speed forward Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control and Automatic High Beam headlamp control.

In line with the simplification strategy introduced by Jeep and with the aim to provide a lean and intuitive offer to customers, two packs are available to further customize the Jeep Gladiator FarOut: Cargo group (including a lockable Rear Underseat Storage, 400 W inverter and 230 V AC Outlet) and Dual top group (where soft top is delivered together with the hard top). Freestanding optionals include the off-road camera, with front and rear view, a roll-up tonneau cover and a hard tri-fold tonneau cover. The color palette is made up of seven exterior options: Bright White, Black, High Velocity, Silver Zynith, Sting Grey, Sarge Green and Hydro Blue.

The powerful V6 diesel engine features a 2.987cc displacement, offering up to 194kW at 3.600 rpm and an impressive maximum torque value of 600 Nm at 1.400 rpm. It is paired with an the TorqueFlite 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission, enabling the vehicle to optimize engine output while driving off-road or provide smooth, efficient power delivery at highway speeds. The Jeep Gladiator is also equipped with a 3.73 axle ratio and the Selec-Trac two-speed transfer case with a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio, a shift-on-the-fly system that provides full-time capability and security.

Orders can be made on the Jeep Gladiator FarOut at all Jeep dealers and on the Brand’s website. The Jeep Gladiator’s farewell in Europe marks a further step in the electrification of the Jeep brand –– which will see – on top of the recent launched all-new Avenger – three fully-electric vehicles hitting the market by 2025, including Recon and Wagoneer-S. As part of Jeep’s contribution to Stellantis’ net-zero carbon goals, by the end of 2030 the Jeep brand’s European sales will be 100% pure electric.
