Nissan has announced senior management changes in Africa, Middle-East, India, Europe and Oceania region (AMIEO), supporting the company’s transformation to meet the opportunities and challenges ahead for the automotive industry.
Effective from July 1st, Mayra González, currently based in Nissan Global Headquarters in Japan as Divisional General Manager Sales, interim head for Global Sales and Dealer Network Development, is appointed Divisional Vice President Marketing & Sales Transformation AMIEO.
With more than 22 years of experience in the industry, González has held roles mainly in Sales, Sales Finance, Customer Quality, Dealer Network Development and Marketing, across multiple markets including the US, Japan, Mexico, and Latin America. Before her global assignment, she served as President and Managing Director at Nissan Mexico, the first woman to hold the position.
González will lead the Marketing & Sales Transformation strategy for the AMIEO Region with a remit to build a lean and agile structure, manage new strategic and innovative projects, and develop new mobility solutions. She will report to Leon Dorssers, Senior Vice President Marketing & Sales, Nissan AMIEO, and will be based in Montigny-le-Bretonneux, France.
With the AMIEO region at the forefront of Nissan’s global electrification and transformation plans, the company has also changed the focus areas of some key executives in its Sales and Marketing organisation, including:
Sinan Ozkok is appointed Managing Director Independent Markets & Region Vice President Business Development, focusing on the profitable growth of Independents Markets and Nissan’s commercial footprint optimization and expansion.
Coralie Musy is appointed Region Vice President – Brand & Nissan Customer Experience (NCX) AMIEO, driving Brand & Customer Centricity across all functions with a special focus on the digitalization of Nissan’s Customer Experience.
Arnaud Charpentier is appointed Region Vice President Marketing & Mobility AMIEO, focusing on Mobility Marketing and reinforcing Nissan’s cross carline capability to tackle the growing complexity of the automotive industry.
Jean-Philippe Roux is appointed Region Vice President Distribution AMIEO, focusing on Dealer Network and Distribution Model Enhancement and IS/IT Transformation, based on disruptive technologies and architecture.
