- INFINITI China unveils QX60 concept co-created with customer input
- Unique ‘shadow purple’ paint channels inspiration for an Arctic aurora
- One-off SUV coincides with INFINITI’s 35th Anniversary celebration
INFINITI this week revealed a one-off QX60 concept vehicle at the Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition (Auto Guangzhou 2024). Based on the locally assembled three-row QX60, the concept was co-created with input from local customers.
Finished in a bespoke ‘Shadow purple’ paint, the QX60 features rich rose gold accents on the radiator grille, wheels, and side moldings. Additionally, roof racks and a color-coded roof box provide added storage space.
The unique purple hue was inspired by the Arctic aurora, one of nature’s most breathtaking displays. Depending on the light and viewing angle, the enchanting color blends deep indigo with a subtle iridescence, reminiscent of the night sky illuminated by shimmering waves of light.
Inside, the soft mauve leather-trimmed interior features unique second-row captain’s chairs with integrated heating, ventilation and massage functionality, as well as a cool box and rear entertainment screens.
The one-off package celebrates INFINITI’s 35th Anniversary and was co-created with input from customers in Guangzhou, Beijing, and Chengdu.
In addition to the concept, visitors to the INFINITI stand Auto Guangzhou can also explore production versions of the QX60 along with QX50 and QX55. The show runs through until November 24th.
